Chateau St Roman 2003 Cotes du Rhone

Chateau St Roman 2003 is a relaxed wine from Comps in Gard. Soft and subtle with warm dark red fruit notes. Almost like a fruits of the forest pie but with the added bonus of 13.5% alcohol :-) Good value at around €4 a bottle. It won a silver medal at the Foire Aux Vins D'Orange in 2004. A wine that will even improve with a year or 3 in the cellar.
