This is a fun novel from Clive Cussler. It starts with the raising of a steam loco from the bottom of a lake, and then steps back in time to follow the hunt for the notorious Butcher Bandit who's plagued the country with his daring bank robberies, that are hallmarked by the murder of any witnesses. Isaac Bell sets out on a high speed chase to catch the Butcher Bandit, both by car and train. Filled with adventure, romance, and life in the Old West, this is a excellent read, with a feeling of an old western dime novel.
