A light pleasant Pinot Noir from Domaine Mazilly Pere & Fils of Meloisey. Good soft red fruit notes with just a slight sharp edge. The finish leaves notes of liquorice and black currents on the palate. A good light wine, which is ideal for summer. It is O.K. value for money at around 5.50€ a bottle. It tastes young, so may even improve with a couple of years in the cellar.
